In a situation when agriculture is so impoverished that it cannot achieve simple reproduction, ie replace its basic assets, it is hard to predict plans for development in the next ten years. Regardless of that, “Sava Kovacevic”, with its available resources, will try to renew and improve its agricultural, particularly farming, mechanization.
In year 2007., the husbandry production was organized on over 4.500 ha of the best quality soil in this part of Europe. The irrigation is permanently available on 2.200 ha, which represents a half of total soil capacities. The plan is to implement an irrigation systems on 1.800 ha more in year 2008. The main crops we raise are: semen and mercantile wheat, barley, soya and sugar rape. In husbandry production we apply the last agrotechnical measures and tools, which are made by the most famous producers, such as "Claas", John Deere" and "Holmer", and other specialized mechanic tools for specific cultures and agrotechnical measures.
The efforts of farmers should naturally be accompanied by the understanding and help on the part of the state, which implies higher stimulations and subsidies. Unlike western agricultures, our agriculture is stimulated and financed partially, without any permanent, long-term programmed for financing. As soon as such an unfavorable attitude towards food producers changes, the position of the entire agricultural system in the state, which has the potential for being one of major European food exporters, will change too.

We also possess warehousing capacities for 21000 tons of cereals, and building of other warehouses is in final phase. In year 2006 we build center for semen corn reproduction, which potential and capacity is 120 tons per 24 hours. This center uses a biomass as a fuel. We also possess center for wheat reproduction.
